Who We Are, Where We Came From, and Where We’re Headed

MGVG Enterprises oversees a group of independently operated businesses across real estate development, residential property management, hospitality, tourism, and private club environments. Each brand operates with its own focus and audience while benefiting from shared leadership, resources, and
operational support.


The role of MGVG Enterprises is to provide structure, oversight, and long-term direction. We stay involved where it matters most, including planning, operations, and strategic decision-making, while allowing each company the flexibility to grow within its market. This approach helps maintain consistency across the organization without limiting creativity or independence.


Behind the structure is a team of experienced professionals who keep everything moving. From leadership to on-site staff, our people bring hands-on knowledge across development, property management, hospitality, and event operations. We value accountability, collaboration, and people who take ownership of their work, because the success of each brand depends on the individuals supporting it every day.

Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

WHO WE ARE

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is more than a tournament series—it’s a platform designed to create opportunities for junior golfers nationwide.

 

Founded in 2007, HJGT has grown into the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States, bringing together players ages eight to eighteen to compete on premier courses across the country. Each event is designed to sharpen competitive skills while fostering personal growth, sportsmanship, and community. HJGT remains committed to delivering meaningful experiences, exceptional service, and a diverse event schedule for players of all levels.

COUNTRY CLUB (TBA)

Mario Conte

CEO and Founder

Mario began his entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, now the world's largest junior golf tour for individuals under 18. Transitioning to real estate, he has successfully managed all stages of development, including planning, acquisition, design, budgeting, construction, and management. Over the past several years, Mario has bought and sold 18 residential and commercial properties across Florida and Georgia.

Chief Investment Officer

Ryan Baker is a top tier real estate operator and institutional asset management executive with a track record of driving outsized performance across complex, large scale portfolios. He holds a graduate certificate in Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School and earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Business from the State University of New York. Ryan has held senior executive roles at two of the top five publicly traded REITs in the United States, organizations with a combined valuation exceeding 50 billion dollars. He has led national portfolios totaling tens of thousands of units, executed at the highest institutional level, and directly driven hundreds of millions of dollars in value creation through operational discipline, revenue optimization, and decisive leadership. Brought in to solve underperformance and scale operations, Ryan is known for building elite teams, enforcing accountability, and delivering results that materially move enterprise value.

Finance and Accounting Coordinator

Katie brings more than 15 years experience in the construction and finance industry rooted in a lifelong exposure to entrepreneurship and building. A graduate of the University of Colorado, she has built a career defined by analytical rigor, financial expertise and strategic insight. Katie is particularly experienced in construction finance, navigating budgets, forecasting and risk management. She believes that integrity, accountability and long-term relationships are essential to sustainable success in both the construction and finance industries

Whether guiding teams or supporting tenants, Julie leads with warmth, integrity, and a passion for making every property a place people are proud to live. “Great communities don’t happen by accident—they’re built through trust, empathy, and everyday care.”
